Chefs Kitchen - Clover

I’ve been three or four times now and the food has been consistently great. If you are looking for some truly unique entrees that will make your taste buds take attention, this is the place. All of the pasta dishes have been top notch. The jalapeño maple rum chicken is really terrific and a super interesting — delicious creation. There’s some amazing cooking going on in this kitchen.

Environment/interior was very disappointing and does not match the price. Staff very underdressed. Food was really good. Could be a very successful place if spruced up and made classier.

First off, the food was outstanding. I had seafood creole and it was the best I’ve ever had. Hubby had the ginormous pork chop which was also great. I had to struggle a bit with finding a choice as I have a gluten intolerance. About half the menu is pasta and they do not offer any GF pasta. There were also a number of items that are breaded so I was left with about four choices, aside from steaks. Our server was pretty new and didn’t know much about GF but did her absolute best to find out. I would have loved s short talk with the chef and requested such but she never showed up, even though we were the only table until about 6:30.

There literally was a rubber band in my food and I didn’t notice until I was chewing on it! We told the waitress and the manger or chef didn’t even come out! The waitress did give us a free dessert but I was shocked no one in charge came out to talk with us or comp our rubber band meal! We will NEVER eat here again and no wonder it was so quiet in there. Just a matter of time until this place goes out of business and now I know why!
