Lakeside Inn Restaurant Bar - Cloyne

The manager, Roxanne, is an incredibly kind and wonderful person. My girlfriends and I were on a road trip and found ourselves in a bit of a bind after 11 PM, searching for an open gas station since we didn’t have enough fuel to reach the nearest one. The gas station across from the Lakeside was closed, and we were unsure of what to do. We stopped to ask Roxanne for directions to the closest open gas station, and when she realized we were running low on gas, she generously offered us a jerry can filled with gas that she had on-site. We paid her for the gas, and she charged us far less than its worth. She truly saved us in that moment. We plan to return in the future to stay at her Inn and enjoy a meal at her restaurant. Roxanne’s friendliness and hospitality have left a lasting impression on us. Thank you, Roxanne! We hope to see you again soon.

The staff was fantastic and very welcoming! The rooms were clean, and the food was delightful. They were extremely accommodating when we needed to change our trip from the Victoria Day weekend to the Canada Day weekend due to an emergency. I will definitely stay here again and appreciate that it's pet-friendly; they always greeted our dog with a friendly hello when they saw her.

The staff here are truly wonderful. Although we didn't stay overnight since it was fully booked, we needed to use the restroom late at night, and the manager graciously allowed us in. She was very welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely consider staying here on our next visit. Thank you!
