Not just a restaurant, but an experience. Underground medieval wine cellar turned fine dining, open view kitchen, and walls separating seating areas in case you want some extra privacy and quiet. We usually go there to celebrate our work victories, we've even taken our clients guests, and every single time, it's been a success. Adriana Berezovski, the live singer, is simply magnificent. Enchanting fado music performer and just a lovely personality, for us she's the biggest attraction of A Camponeza. The entire staff, including the chefs, are very attentive and always go out of their way to ensure we have a great time. Plan ahead and get a reservation because the place is usually packed, especially the seating in the main area where Adriana performs. P. S. Order the sangria (traditional recipe) and brigadeiro cake (chocolate heaven)
The restaurant is very nice, has all kinds of meat and fish. Nothing for vegetarians. The dishes that we tried (Fish mix and beed) were super delicious. A little bit more side dish would be nice. All in all a good place, i can recommand.
The place offers a great variety of dishes (their seafood is especially worth checking out) and the atmosphere is definitely reminiscent of Mediterranean places. Spending a relaxed evening there is definitely a culinary experience
We had dinner here for Valentine’s day, the place was overcrowded as expected, but the problem was that they added extra tables and it was uncomfortable. Anyway, we hoped that the food was going to compensate for it, but we waited about 40 min for the apetizers, some ham and cheese, nothing special. The main course also disappointed, I had the shrimp on a skewer which were way overcooked, very hard to peel, and they had a burnt taste. We were also waiting for a desert that never came and decided to leave. It got pretty annoying because the other people started to complain also. The bill was the same as for a seafood restaurant in Barcelona, just not worth it. And by the way, they billed the desert also even though we didn’t have it. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody.
