Írjon visszajelzéstI stopped by SteepLeaf again this summer and sampled the charcuterie board and a glass of Chilean wine. What a splendid place for a fine meal or light fare and wine. Highly recommend. I am impressed by the additions to the menu!
We happened upon the SteepLeaf on a Saturday evening in search of a quiet and intimate place to eat and converse. We were met by a the owner and chef Michelle who was friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. She made the suggestions and we were hooked. PROS: - gourmet selection of food options on the menu. - Friendly- all organic and freshly made produce in house. - quick timely service - attention to detail (clearing table, refilling drinks, asking questions) IMPROVEMENTS: - Portion sizes can be misleading. A lot of the food items on the menu are small appetizer size. They really want you to dine on the main course of the evening.
Tea lovers! this is the place to linger! many different teas to choose from or dare to enjoy the unknown...the owners are friendly and passionate! Humus is like no other....quaint inside with a lovely patio!
The various foods prepared are original. The Chef is fantastic. The service is great. The creations are tastefully done.
I read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor as we were strolling along Cobourg's Main Street and the skies opened with a pretty intense rain storm. We dashed to the restaurant and came in with our dripping clothes and no reservation. Chef Michelle greeted us with warmth and amazingly was able to accommodate us. This is a TINY spot and the other tables were reserved. A limited menu with unique and tempting items. My husband had the duck roulade and I had pumpkin seed pesto pasta. Coupled with a bottle of wine and a desert with espresso we were totally happy.Service was great from Chef Michelle and her husband partner Kirk. We would definitely come again if staying in Cobourg, but next time we will be certain to have a reservation!
