Tropical Smoothie Cafe - College Park

I love everything about Tropical Smoothie Cafe. They have large low calorie choices that are very tasteful and fulfill. Great staff and a cool environment. On numerous occasions I was greeted by the franchise owners who complemented the charm of every place.

I?m giving them 2 stars because they were quick. But, I?ve came here twice and each time, my smoothie was very icy and watered down. Also, the smoothies are never blended properly?

I had done a pick up order and my order (along with others) didn?t have a ticket on it so it made it difficult for the staff to figure out which ticket went to who. It was a bit disorganized. My smoothie also wasn?t great, it had too much ice in it and there wasn?t any flavor to it. My flatbread sandwich was great so no concerns there. They seemed overwhelmed but I don?t get why they wouldn?t put the name of the ticket in side the order of the bag once it was done and ready to go.

I placed an order (specifying no cheese) and they added cheese anyway. I called the store because I did not want to give a poor rating on UberEats. I addressed my concern to the woman that answered the phone and she said sorry to hear that . She made no attempt to remedy the issue or give a genuine apology (as I know accidents can happen). She was very impolite. My rating is based on poor customer service; additionally, I had to throw away the bowl due to my dietary restrictions.

One of my favorite lunch spots, clean restaurant, friendly staff and great food. For $10 you can get a flatbread sandwich, side, and a smoothie. The food is healthy and filling. They also have an app where you can earn rewards for each visit.
