Layne's - College Station

I love this place, but the kitchen staff's constant shouting can be a bit much. I'm not sure what all the yelling is about, but it doesn't deter me from returning. Thank you, and maybe lay off the energy drinks!

We had a delightful and straightforward experience with the friendly staff at the window, which made our family glad we chose this spot to order from. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic people offering a unique product that you won’t find in this part of Aggie country. I highly recommend the spicy chicken strips, paired with fries, toast, and their potato salad. It's an absolute must-try!

Well tasted, but I ordered a box with extra frits instead of kartoffel salad. I have much less pommes and a less chicken delicate than my wife with a regular box. quality control.

Last time I went to Layne's was pre-pandemic (remember those days? so it seems a new review is in order. I'm happy to say not much has changed. The menu is reduced as far as options but I still felt like I ate like a king: 5-finger basket (or 3, I forget with toast, potato salad, an extra sauce (must have! , and a drink (water for a hair less than $10. It was a yummy fried chicken lunch, served speedily: what more could I want?
