Írjon visszajelzéstWe didn't have a great experience here. We placed a takeout order and were told it would take about an hour, which wasn’t a big deal for a Friday night. However, about half an hour later, we called to check on our order and were informed it would take another half hour because they were unsure of the driver's whereabouts. My husband went to pick up the food. We were given a deep-fried floral appetizer that was somewhat enjoyable. The naan was delicious, but both the butter chicken and rice were quite disappointing. The sauce for the butter chicken was lumpy and overly sweet, almost like it had sugar poured in, and the rice had whole cloves mixed in, which didn't work well together. We might consider trying something different next time, but this meal didn't meet our expectations.
I almost decided against ordering food after reading the reviews, but I'm glad I went ahead. We were in Collingwood looking for Halal Desi cuisine, and this was the only place we found. We ordered shrimp biryani, chili chicken, and chicken tikka. Everything is made to order, so be sure to place your order 30 minutes in advance. The chili chicken was AMAZING! The chicken tikka was also quite good. The shrimp biryani was a bit different from what I'm used to, but it wasn't bad at all. I'm puzzled by the comments about the staff being rude; my husband went to pick up the food and had a wonderful experience. He did forget to order raita, but the staff member kindly took care of it for him without any fuss. I think customers should show some respect to the hardworking staff before expecting it in return.
The food is absolutely delicious. I can confidently say that it's on par with authentic Indian cuisine. However, there aren’t any seats available at the restaurant. I recommend taking your food to a nearby park for a picnic so you can fully enjoy the meal there.
Worst Indian food I had in a while. Paneer Currys were under par, and Paneer's texture and taste was strange. Tandoori Rotis was so hard that we had to throw away most. The employee at the switch was rude. I suspect the five star reviews they received. Stay here.
First time visited from toronto and was looking for indian restaurant and found coriander's kitchen, only Indian restaurant in Collingwood. I bought chilli chicken, daal tarka, Butter chicken, baingain bhartha, chicken madras and naan. First of all of the dishes were excellent and on top of that not oily at all. Had to wait 30 mins because everything is fresh not ready made like other restaurants, you can see them cooking, so it is worth waiting for the food, and the naan is so soft and crispy damn it was so good. The stuff are so good and the owner makes you feel overwhelmed. The most surprising thing is they are all Bangladeshi but they are food is better than the other Indian restaurants I have visited. It gives you a nostalgic feeling take the first bite. I m only gonna order from them until my stay. Thank you guys for this wonderful dinner.
