Les Voiles - Cologny

We were at Les Voiles to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. What a TERRIBLE experience!!! (a The bill was WRONG but I only figured it out the next day. They charged us an additional 145 Fr for a Magnum bottle we never ordered or drank. (b I called the next day, and the day after. In total, I tried calling them on 5 different occasions during work hours ... nobody was picking up! I tried emailing them (two weeks ago ... no reply! (c the welcoming service was AWFUL and it ruined our evening. We walked in at around 21:00 for our table and the welcome desk was empty for 7 minutes! Empty… no-one… at peak time!! The line of guests behind us was growing… Eventually, the lady (with the mic on her ear and tablet on her hands! gave us the wrong table! I booked for dinner, she gave us drinks-only table. She was in a rush to leave us… When I tried to talk to her to find a new table, she walked out quickly and disappeared. Literally!! She was not around! No-one was at the welcome desk (there were 27 people waiting!! and she did not show up for 20 mins!! (yes, 20 mins ! I was counting the minutes because I was so pissed off that I brought important people with me to celebrate my wife’s birthday in a prestige venue and I had to wander around the venue for half an hour trying to find someone to speak!! UNACCEPTABLE! We especially thanked our waiter who was an amazing guy who tried to save the rest of the night for us. (d last but not least, the line for the women 's toilets was 15-20 mins! I am not kidding!! It felt that we are in some kind of 'street festival ' (with high end prices ! My wife almost missed her candle/cake due to the long wait at the toilets. The usual excuse of busy night and that everyone is calling us should not really apply! When someone owns runs a high-end venue, he/she promises a high-end service! We still have not heard back from the restaurant about an apology and with the 145 Fr refund.

Unfriendly, fake/show-off atmosphere bar. Bad service overall, outside seating were also soaked. Toilets are dirty.

Food way too expensive for what it is but the quality is quite good. The service is okay. The atmosphere is very nice, however. The location is very pleasant by the lake.

You really feel like you're right on the beach! Great place to spend the summer in Geneva.

It was the worst experience ever. We went on Sunday for brunch with 12 friends at 1:00 pm. It was already a hustle to order some drinks as no waiter was coming to the table. The waiter came and said that they were out of stock and they had only few options left. We were already bummed but we order drinks and food, we waited until 2:40 pm and our food hadn’t arrived. We asked the waiter and they said that they were out of stock so they had to go to buy the groceries and they don’t know when our food was gonna be ready. We decided to leave after being there for almost 2 hours with the worst service and experience. Please don’t go there !!
