Where was the smiling staff that another person mentioned? I went here today and just chose 6 dinge from the menu to try them all. I didn't like it and I got to go so I could give it to a homeless one outside. When I asked the waiter on a menu, he only sat one on the table. the view of his face was how dare they come here technical it is a vegetarian restaurant. but where are the veggies like broccoli carrots cauliflower sellerie, etc. it seems all thick teig and cartoffels to be. I'd rather eat at kfc or mcdonald. I'm sorry.

This is quite similar to many of the other nearby South Indian veg restaurants. many choices (although sometimes they can be out of something) and there are some sri lanka dishes plus nasi goreng (Indonesian/Malaysian.) faster service.

Saraswathie lodge is a fantastic place to go if they are looking for a no frills vegetarian vegan friendly restaurant. we all had kartoffeln masala dosa and pepsis for 3 people who came to a crowded sum of $6.50 aud. make sure to clarify whether they do not want ghee in their food.

Really good eating at busy places with helpful smiling staff and great trips. all standard standards of curry and rice, many vegan options string funnel, dosa....and oh the (veg)sweet! just a few minutes from greenlands vegetarian hotel (also tested) so when they are in the opposite!
