Barnacle Bill - COLONEL LIGHT GARDENS

This is a typical fish and chips shop. It's nothing fancy, but I have no complaints. The fish is of good quality and the prices are reasonable. The homemade chocolate mousse is excellent as well!

I've been getting takeout from here for many years, and I've always been pleased with the quality of the food and the prompt service. Yesterday, I finally dined in at the Colonel Light Gardens location and enjoyed a delightful lunch. The food was beautifully presented on a large plate, complete with a side salad. The restaurant itself was very clean, and the tables were well-maintained, making it a welcoming atmosphere. The prawns were the best I’ve ever tasted, and the chips are nearly always perfect. BB's will remain my favorite spot for seafood takeout, and now I can also enjoy it as a dine-in option for a light lunch. I highly recommend it!

Had dinner from here last night, and was really impressed with the food. Cooked to perfection, tender on the inside and crunchy outside! Tasted great too. I had a little wait as the shop was quite busy, although almost on closing time. But it was well worth the wait! Well done.

First visit to a Barnacle Bill and we definitely enjoyed the experience. It was very busy at lunch and the girl at the counter did a great job. We enjoyed the food and recommend the 'Spoiler ' which gives you a bit of everything.

Who doesn't love Barnacle Bill's? Everyone agrees that the seafood is top-notch! My favorite is the 2-in-1 snack pack, which comes with a generous serving of prawns, and the fish bites are always fresh and served hot. You really can't go wrong with this choice!
