Írjon visszajelzéstI've visited Tokyo Joe's several times, trying to give them a fair opportunity. Unfortunately, the sauces, which used to be great, now taste like they've come from a can, and the "fresh" vegetables were quite soggy. I paid $10 for a bowl of undercooked rice, the chicken breast was undercooked (isn't that a salmonella risk?), and the beef was as tough as leather. I also tried the fish, which wasn’t bad, but certainly overpriced. On a positive note, I did enjoy the miso soup.
I ordered the gumbo, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. It doesn't taste like authentic Cajun gumbo at all; it really lacks flavor. I have a feeling Chef Burnet might not be from Cajun country. Perhaps this is how some people in Colorado prefer their Cajun food, but it doesn't reflect true Cajun cooking. If you take a trip to Louisiana, you'll quickly see that this isn't what Cajun cuisine is all about. Chef, have you ever heard of a roux? It seems not, since making one takes more than five minutes and it's a crucial component in your dishes. To be honest, you're not a Cajun cook! I suggest you take a step back, learn the proper techniques, and work on improving your menu to help your business thrive.
