Perkins Bakery - Colorado Springs

About 7:00 and dinner. We sat right after the drooling over the baked goods in the case My Hubby ordered breakfast and I also ate some of his! I ordered chicken roast steak and it was good, but the potatoes were real and delicious! We ordered an appetizer of deep fried pimples and they were immediately gone because they were delicious! We took a whole cake home, but I probably go back for a brownie, a cinnamon roll or a mammoth muffin....maybe all 3!!! We'll be back!

Salmon was Excellent service was excellent. Turkey and Double catch were good. The cherry pie was missing the ice cream. The banana cream pie needs a lot of work. The lemon merengue good but it could also use some in the consistency, too watery looking. Maybe it was sitting in the fridge too long. Overall it was a good meal. I'll be back to see/taste the improvements on dessert .

First time dining in. Cinnamon roll, must have again. So warm, vanilla-y, and rich! Country Skillet, ummmmmm. Pancakes, delightful. Sausage patties, my favorite. Staff, cleanliness, and counter-check out, all good. I just might be a regular now instead of through grubhub only. Great job!

Had their Thanksgiving dinner that comes with a slice of pumpkin pie- no substitutions! Turkey was a little dry, stuffing had cinnamon in it (my first for that, I wasn’t a fan), the rest of the entree was delicious. I order a side of ham, which was a nice compliment to the Thanksgiving plate. I also order a slice of banana cream pie to go, it was yummy! And that sticky bun was also very good. Definitely a great choice for dessert and a decent option for a Thanksgiving dinner. My real only complaint would be that my waiters clothing was filthy, very messy, this was a bit off putting, but oh well, maybe he had a busy day. The service was OK overall.

First time visiting a Perkins restaurant. The bakery looked delicious!! We'll have to grab something next time. The breakfast burger was sent from heaven, the tots from hell. The were way overcooked, which left no potato in the middle. The burger was awesome! It will be hard to try anything else on the menu now. My wife loved her veggie omelette. 5 stars if you can get the tots right.
