Spice Goa - Colovale

Every one should go to this seafood center during your trip .. the authentic Goan taste...Yummy wide variety seafood.. decent ambiance.. awesome service .. very special desert / sweet ...Only one suggestion.. try to book your seats in prior.. else you might experience a queue / waiting outside the center..

This is a bit upscale restaurant. I ordered their Squid masala which was good. Service is bit late. The most I liked was their Sawdust pudding.

A cosy little place serving good quality goan food in quite large portions, when compared with the price......fresh catch served with a warm homely service. A must visit place for all Foodies....

I visited the restaurant with two friends. We were advised to share dishes and try a few different ones, so we left the decision of the dishes in the owners hands... Which turned out to be the best choice. We try many different dishes, including a huge kind prawn which was bigger than my fork! The food not only looked impressive, but tasted even better. My favorite dish was the snapper fish, which was smothered in a gorgeous masala flavour. The staff are good at suggesting which fish to try, in accordance with the season. The menu has so much choice, making it difficult to decide. Over all I'd definitely say that this is the BEST seafood that I have ever eaten, the textures and tastes are to die for. I would highly recommend this place if you want a true traditional Goan experience.

Our intentions were clear when we drove here from the farthest end of Candolim - to gorge ourselves with all things Goan. The Fish Thali is the way to go...Red snapper+clams+tiny dried prawns+Goan yellow curry with prawns and plain rice .....Etc. We asked for rawa fried King fish, masala prawns and Roti's as extras. It was all so fulfilling. For dessert, had Serradurra for the first time and simply fell in love with it, even packed one for later...Tried some elsewhere but was no match to this one. Place was full house even on a weekday -family as well as office goers. Service was prompt and courteous.
