Mamajs - Columbia

I stumbled upon this place by accident, but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The Ruck Chicken and Chicken Curry were packed with flavor. The beef patties were also quite tasty.

Mama J's was fantastic! I had the curry chicken, which was delicious. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh.

The food was delicious and authentic, the service was excellent, and the restaurant was impeccably clean! I had never tried pumpkin rice with oxtails before, and it turned out to be one of the best choices I've ever made. My husband and I will definitely be returning soon.

OMG!!! I heard about this restaurant, I decided to take a mommy break! I was out of work and the kids were at school! I just wanted a peace. The staff was nice! The music was beautiful and the food was amazing. I cook all the time and do NOT like to eat from time!!! The food was delicious. I couldn't eat it. It was a quiet atmosphere and peaceful. I felt like a cloud. If you have a stressful day and want to relax, only for a minute this is the place!!! Then I went next door to put some relaxing hot tea with honey sometimes because I wanted to stay a little longer on an aphrodisiac cloud.

I was told about this place by a friend that lives in the area. He figured since I am Caribbean I would enjoy the food; Cuban and Jamaican cuisine is very different but have similarities, and I must say the curry goat I ordered was very good. The plantains were very fresh and cooked beautifully; the rice and peas could have used a little more seasoning and cooked for a shorter time, but overall the dish was delicious and flavorful. I can’t remember what type of tea I ordered but I wish I could have gotten it in a gallon jug. I also loved the fact that there was a little Caribbean store next door. Can’t find spices like that at Walmart!
