Pawleys Front Porch - Columbia

Found this place on Pinterest and rerouted our trip to make a stop. Not impressed. Typical burger joint. Drink was made with way too much margarita mix and although burger was fresh, fries had been from a previous batch. One thing that was annoying was Iattempted to pay with a $100 bill, and they did not have enough change. Luckily, I had brought in my card. I find it hard tobelieve that someplace as popular in the location it is in does not have $77 to make change for a $23 meal

I was quite disappointed with my recent visit. I remember really enjoying this place around 7-8 years ago, but this time was not good at all. The soda was poorly mixed and tasted very watered down. On the plus side, the server was great and even tried to bring us another glass from the bar, but it was only slightly better. The burgers, however, were terrible. They were dense, clearly frozen, and had an unappetizing gray color. We struggled to finish what we could eat. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and felt like a waste of $50. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

I really love this place! It's a wonderful local spot in Five Points with a charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The burgers are amazing, but I have to say, the wraps are pretty good too! They have weekly drink specials, and it's a great location for our team meetings. Highly recommend!

The food was average, and the service was quite poor. We waited over an hour and twenty minutes for our meals. They seemed busy for the first 40-45 minutes, but then things really slowed down. I tried to rationalize it to my family, saying they might be short-staffed or overwhelmed by the crowd. Eventually, the waitress informed us that there had been a shift change, and they had forgotten our order. Just as we were about to leave, our food finally arrived. I won’t be returning. There was no sign of a supervisor or manager, and the only apology came from the waitress who neglected to place our order. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The burger itself was decent, but the buns were stale.

We visited again tonight, marking our second trip to this restaurant (the first was in April during a college tour). Once again, the food was fantastic! The burgers were perfectly cooked, and the fries were delicious as well. We had the same server, a wonderful person named Megan, who was very attentive and personable. I highly recommend Pawleys to anyone seeking a great meal in Columbia.
