The Axe-handle - Columbus Grove

I'd give The Axe Handle more than five stars if I could! We hosted a bridal shower here and everything was wonderful!! Quiche, fruit, and salad all delicious! The ladies all loved the mimosas! Wynn, our server, was so attentive and friendly. Skyler, was a great communicator and put together a wonderful luncheon for us. It was a great celebration!!

We were here one other time but this was not the same place we ate at before. They had only 4 dinner entrees and 2 were out for the night at 630 pm. Out of the other 2 only 1 was left of one. My wife ordered that one and I had a sandwich that said it was the favorite. Very disappointed and we will not be back. Too few options for a Friday night dinner out. No steak, fish or chicken. Really how are you still in business. If I wanted a sandwich I would go to Arby's.

Very cozy place. They had a special, meatloaf sandwich, very good.The roast beef was okay. A little bit too heavy on the creamy white sauce.The Mediterranean hummus dish was very tasty.Our waitress was extremely nice and on point with everything.There's not much in this area but this place makes up for that!

Wonderful use of a restored building.Took wife daughter and grandkids...food tasted good, waitress was outstanding.And we got a special bonus as they went all out for Halloween!(And thanks IBARRA family for giving candy to everyone for dessert) Kid-friendliness: Nice clean high chairs.
