Alpine Restaurant Bar - Columbus

This is a lovely restaurant with very helpful staff. The manager took a moment to chat with us before our meal, and he was quite soft-spoken. However, be aware that the restrooms are located down two flights of stairs, which may pose a challenge for some guests. The bar is well-stocked and offers a comfortable atmosphere. The delicious aromas wafting from the kitchen definitely made us hungrier. On the downside, parking in the area is quite difficult, so make sure to read the signs carefully to avoid a hefty ticket or being towed. The outdoor dining area looked fantastic.

Great, friendly staff amazing food/drinks! This was my second trip (first was before COVID) the atmosphere was exactly as I remember it. The food is probably the most traditionally German food I've found in Columbus!

The cocktail selection is excellent and changes frequently. The atmosphere is cozy, and the summer patio is lovely. This place is truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood.

Was it worth the hunt to find The Alpine Restaurant? Absolutely worth 5 stars! Sitting outside with the sun setting behind the trees, we were able to unwind and enjoy a refreshing beer along with some delicious food. The staff was friendly and professional, the beer was crisp and refreshing, and the spätzle was fantastic! Definitely a place you should seek out.

The staff were friendly and the building is interesting and kept very clean. The food was good, especially the curry wurst. The menu doesn't exactly reflect what they show online, so we were disappointed that the raclette pops weren't available. A dish of zoodles was surprisingly good.
