Cavanaughs River Deck - Columbus

The girl in the front forgot to tell the waiter that she had sat us down. So I had to get up to see why we had not been helped after 10 minutes of sitting there. Come to find out she was talking to the waiter when I approached flirting I can see why she forgot. We finally got some cocktails. But then the waiter never showed up to take our order after 15 minutes of waiting. When he finally showed up we told him we were leaving and we were going to take her business elsewhere. They left and the manager before we left showed up to our table. And said that they had told her that we had a bad experience and we were leaving. The manager apologized and comped our cocktails. I did not get her name but she was very apologetic which helped the situation.

We went for brunch and had a great visit together. The flavours of the seafood dishes was good, lamb was tasty but a bit overdone. Otherwise a nice spot

Very much enjoyed the informal atmosphere with a touch of class. The food was unique and tasty.

This restaurant was way off that night. Once seated it took 15 minutes for the server to introduce himself to us, then everything we ordered came at one time and the meats which were requested rare were well done and then asked to be refired which took a while to come back to our table. Lastly, the server rarely check in on us. Was there during pandemic outside and service and food was great but this time, pretty bad.

Over priced for the quality. Don't order the ahi, as it didn't seem fresh. Otherwise fun casual place to eat. Bill should have been half of what we paid.
