Chi Thai - Columbus

Always good food and quick service!!! I've been going here since before COVID (new reference point). They were awesome during COVID, stayed open, had rules but kept serving up great food! Love this restaurant, owner is always there and runs a tight ship. Staff is excellent!

Tom Kha was good. Hunan beef was dry and flavorless, Szechuan bean curd also extremely bland. Dumplings fell apart when we tried to eat them. Crab rangoons were tiny and overpriced.

What a gem. We are in town for a few days and visited Chi Thai last night. The staff was friendly and attentive. The menu was extensive. There were both Chinese and Thai options. The portions were large, definitely enough to take home for lunch the next day. When I asked to go off menu for sesame tofu, not a problem. If we lived in this area, this would be our 'go to ' restaurant for sure.

When ever I am in town, this is my go to spot for a quiet meal. They run the gamut of Chinese and Thai dishes. Their Tom Kai Gai soup is some of the best I have ever had. If you are looking for something in the comfort food/fill you up side of the spectrum, I recommend any of the curries (green is my favorite) or the traditional Chinese dishes. If you are looking for something a bit lighter you can't go wrong with any of the lamb or fish dishes.

I was snowed in in Columbus but I was able to drive from the airport over to this restaurant which I pass about once a month. I’ve never had it before so I was going to give it a shot. My food was fantastic ! I ordered hot and sour soup, lettuce wraps, and drunken noodles and it was all very authentic. I will definitely be ordering from Chi Thai in the future! Thank you:
