Long time, local Chinese restaurant on 161 with good standard Chinese dishes, a beautiful dining room and attentive server.

It serves decent food even if it's a little overpriced. I've eaten here a couple of dozen times and it's never made me sick. The portions are good (rice meal two meals for me, I refrigerate half of it) and the food is flavorful. Surprisingly good considering its location and the look of the building. If it helps, I generally order carry out, so I can't comment on the dining in experience. It's not going to blow your socks off, but it's also not bad food by any stretch, a rather typical American Chinese food spot. The fountain inside the front door is a nice touch, but kinda misses the point but that's okay. The lady who runs the front counter is a little gruff but you kinda get used to it after a while. Orders are usually ready in less than 20 minutes, which I appreciate. Overall a positive experience and I eat here a couple of times a month. It's just slightly pricey for what you get.

I had to try a different chinese restaurant after Ding-ho disappointed me. This place was great! Shrimp size and quantity of the shrimp fried rice was very generous. Although the rice a bit oily, it was good. Tso chicken was perfect. It did not have that freezer burn taste most locations have so that tells me they handle their product and rotation well! I will be back for more.

Lunch is where it is at. You get soup, an entree with rice and an egg roll for usually under 7 bucks. Huge quantities too, I generally make lunch and dinner out of it. Pretty good food from what I've had. Customer service really is lacking though, be prepared for that. Don't expect service with a smile. Heck, I eat here on a weekly basis and I'm treated like they've never seen me, and it is the same 2 people working the FOH.

Got our orders wrong, rice very dry, phone call taken at our table by staff, and more important than getting our order correct. Oh and to top it off, it's almost April and they were still playing a Christmas music tape over their speakers. Sorry not impressed
