Írjon visszajelzéstMy brother, visiting from Sarasota, Florida, found The Top to have excellent cuisine and outstanding service in an elegant and very tasteful atmosphere; an excellent dining experience. He had escargot followed by a petit filet. Our guest also had a petit filet and she likewise found it to be excellent. I also started with escargot, followed by wonderful, well-prepared prime rib. All three dinners were accompanied by huge Idaho baked potatoes and equally large portions of broccoli. The Top is a first-class, first-rate 1950s era steakhouse. This was the second visit to The Top for all three of us. We would all go back again and highly recommend it.
It was ok, not the best by any means though. I don 't like the caddy of sour cream and butter for the potatoes. I asked for it on the side and then it was plopped all over my potato. Steak was a little cold, broccoli was crunchy and not cooked through. My husbands bacon wrapped filet-bacon was fatty and greasy and when he took it off the steak, it was grey underneath. I took my filet home and it tasted better the next day in my quesadilla that I put it in. I didn 't see anyone under the age of 30 eating there, mostly people who probably have been eating there since the day they opened with their parents and they think it 's good because there is nothing else to compare it to. I 'd rather drive 90 minutes and go back to Ruth Chris in Cincinnati and I will next time.
Always love going to The Top! Great service, and absolutely the best steak in town! Plenty of non-beef options, too.
Excellent meal and service. We were glad we had reservations as it was packed even on a Thursday night. Already planning another visit.
The Top is a special place for dining. First of all when you enter The Top, you are stepping back in time to that era reminiscent of Sinatra and the boys. The booths are cozy, the atmosphere is cool and the Martinis are flowing. The steaks are classic and excellent. All the sides and salads and appetizers you 'd expect. But then there 's the piano bar. If your lucky, you grab a spot at the piano bar and you are pleasantly entertained with all your favorites. Love The Top
