Very disappointed on Easter. For past two years our family meets there formThanksgiving and Easter. Its half way point between Sacramento and Red Bluff. We have enjoyed the buffet they had for $20. I looked online and it appeared to be business as usual. We were disappointed to find this year it was a major scale back in selection. It had the look and feel of a small buffet you find a a golf course or a wedding. But it was still $20. Of the limited selection, the food was rather dull. The fruit was not ripe, the pasole was bland, and the prime rib was over cooked and dried out. The salmon eggs Benedict was frankly, awful. The desert table was very unsubstantial with some stale goods. The chili verde was very good and you could get a fresh made omelette with limited choices. But we didnt drive 75 miles to spend $20 on breakfast. In summary, it was not terrible, it was just not very good. Not for $20. We are now in quest of a new venue. Probably Louie Cairos in Williams or possibly a place in downtown Colusa. Im open to suggestions. Was very disappointing

Came for lunch on a Tuesday. It use to be a buffet but is revamped as a cafe/restaurant. I think they took some of the chefs from the Jack's place cafe because that menu is small now. Overall, great hamburgers at this spot. Sadly no blue cheese hamburger Jack's place use to have one that was amazing and it is gone was hoping that it came here but no. Some of the sandwiches I'm told are not that great like the pastrami is on flattened pretzel bread. I had the Italian sandwich it was pretty good but bread was meh. This place also has an all you can eat salad and soup on certain days lots of people were getting that. Salad bar seems very small and soup choices were veggie and beef noodle. On monday there is an all you can eat chicken special.

By far the most incompetent place I've been. They messed up my order three times on three different occasions. 1. I ordered a pizza and wings over the phone for pick up. When I got there no wings. 2. Ordered pizza with jalapeño to go, when I got home, no jalapeño.3. Ordered prime rib sandwich, no sides or anything. Incompetent!

Good food. Limited buffet. But it included prime rib.

So we were told that the food at this restaurant was questionable when it came to their entrees. Well, we should've listened, but wanted to see for ourselves. It was no wonder there were lots of seats available to sit at inside the restaurant. I ordered the fish and chips (menu says Alaskan cod... my a it was Alaskan cod! . The fries were obviously frozen and so was the fish! My wife ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with the same **** fries I got. I know I gave 3 stars and wanted to give 2, but the food was horrible, just my entree was $14.50! My wife's sandwich was delicious though and ended up telling the waitress that my fish and chips were garbage. She was really cool about it and comped my meal. If you want a great serve/waitress ask for Phyllicia, she was awesome and attentive. She was the reason I gave the last star.
