Rifugio Lunelli - COMELICO SUPERIORE

I had lunch at this picturesque rifugio on a solo hike in the area, and it was one of the most beautiful spots to sit outside on the veranda with the majestic mountains towering over me. I loved the old stone building, which had a lot of character. Unfortunately the food was very overpriced and didn 't taste very good. I ordered what was recommended as a local specialty , which looked like it was lovelessly dumped on the plate and had no flavour. For 15 euro I expected a bit more. The cakes were apparently good so I wish I had stuck with those. A million dollar view and nice location to have a drink and a rest though.

Il rifugio si trova proprio ai piedi delle montagne con una vista mozzafiato. I piatti sono deliziosi e preparati con cura. Consigliato per fermarsi dopo una bella escursione.

Siamo arrivati qui dopo un'escursione un po' impegnativa dal Passo Monte Croce Comelico. I ragazzi erano molto affamati e hanno scelto i maccheroni del pastore con salsiccia e funghi e le tagliatelle al capriolo. Porzioni abbastanza generose per bocche fameliche. Il personale era molto gentile, ma ciò che ci ha positivamente sorpreso sono stati i prezzi: davvero onesti.
