But finding small, intimate, out-of-the way restaurants is one of the benefits. Fortunately for me DJ's is walking distance from my home. Charming. Smiling staff. Great soup, salad and entrees. German beer on tap. DJ's has become a favorite and a place I bring out-of-town guests as well as good friends.
Good value, very nice waiting staff like family eating is plentiful amount and delicious. foreseeable if your first time: hearty and rich kitchen. avoid ordering. bier on hahn are excellent. do not fill on the large house brot, with dinner entrees. in the course of the time learned to share with friend, and or enjoy family style. open for lunch. tipp: do not wear tight dresses!
This place is nostalgic to me. I felt like I was transported to Germany or the Czech Republic. The pilsner was cold and on tap (forget glasses of water), the pork schnitzel, red cabbage, and spaetzle with that mushroom gravy delish! The salad dressing with dill is delightful. The soup was so flavorful. The apple strudel just like home. Everything is delish here! You should visit if you want a taste of home and to build a community everyone is your friend here.
We had the Jaeger Schnitzel. No frills, no fuss, just good, simple food. Easy to park and no wait for a table. There was a constant flow of business and it seemed like a lot of regulars come here for dinner. We would return.
Small, local place. Monica was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Had the PorkLoin and the Meatloaf. Both plates were tasty. And plenty of food! Shared with my GF who announced that it was my Bday. The staff and a couple of guests sang Happy Birthday And They gave me a free piece of cake! Overall a great dinner and evening!
