We ordered delivery from this restaurant but the 'vegan scampi' was not available so we opted for the vege-burger and chips instead. Upon receiving our order, we noticed the smell of beef fat on the chips. My husband called the restaurant to inquire about the cooking oil used for the chips and was told that they were cooked in animal fat. He explained that this made the chips unsuitable for vegetarians or vegans, but the staff did not seem to comprehend the issue or did not care. We ate the burger, which did not have any traces of animal fat, but had to discard the rest of the meal. Overall, we are giving this restaurant one star out of necessity.
