Suresh Restaurant

We liked it so much we came 4 times during our 5 days stay in Hampi. The best spots are the low tables with the matresses. Perfect to chill for a while after eating good food. The owner is very nice and wifi is available

The food that we ate in Suresh was delicious we enjoyed every meal we ate. The most delicious Gobi Manchurian it was amazing!! The staff were all lovely and very helpful. We couldn't recommend this place more if you want to try the best Indian...food in Hampi.

I visited this restaurant on 30th Oct for dinner. Food was so so. Service was poor. When I asked for reason for delay, got arragont response that food is made in home kitchen and it will take time. At that time restaurant occupancy was mere...30%. When you open restaurant then you should be able to handle 100% occupancy. After food, we asked if we can pay by card, they told us to use paytm. I transferred 1230/ to mobile number provided by owner (amreesh). After payment he claimed that he has not received payment. That time he informed that he don't have paytm but phonepe. Owner behavior was not good at all. He demanded payment is cash as well. I made payment in cash and left. He promised that if he receive money he will transfer it back. I waited for 2 days. Checked with my bank and they asked to get proper bill from restaurant. When I visited restaurant 2nd time, he told me that he don't have bill book and gave me bill on plan paper. I know it won't be accepted by bank. I asked him to check his all UPI accounts and he was hesitant and arrogant. His response was come later I don't have time now. If I am free later I will talk with you. Seeing the situation I approached Hampi police next stay. They called him and sorted out matter. He returned money in cash. If you want to enjoy Hampi, avoid this restaurant. Green restaurant and catering is good restaurant at kamalapur. We had good time there. Food was excellent.

We stayed in Hampi a couple of days and we only ate there! They have a normal Thali (150 rp) which is great, even to share it if you are not super hungry. We also had the special one (300 to) which was amazing; with...fresh fruits, a lot of curry’s... And they are probably the only ones in one month that have not come to our table like a thousand of times while we are eating: they just carry you the food and leave you alone. We loved it!!!! Great food at a great prize!!

I recently tried two other restaurants in Hampi, but I will only be coming back here for my meals. The food is fantastic, with generous portion sizes, and what really sets this place apart is the wonderful family that owns it, led by Suresh.
