242 Pub Grill - Conroe

Was visiting the Conroe Texas area and just went to this place because and glad I did. The bartender was on things and this place had a wide selection of dishes and a selection of beers. The cancer was in the season and was good. Would recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

Great place to meet up for a beer and hang with friends. I had a salad, a beer and great conversation with a group of friends for about an hour and half and spent around 20 bucks, including a good tip! Atmosphere is casual and chill, the staff is friendly with quick service. The waitstaff and bartenders keep an eye on you, checking to make sure you know they haven 't forgotten about you and are ready to serve you with whatever you need. I like that! The salad was NOT what I would have expected from a casual bar like this! It was more of a chef 's salad with fresh greens and everything was made when I ordered it. Not like some places where you can tell it was prepped at the beginning of the shift a couple of hours ago. This was outstanding! They could easily command higher price points for their menu items and get it without any complaints! This was perhaps the best value I 've EVER received for a beer and a salad! I was literally taken aback when I paid! It was less than 15 bucks! With a $5 tip I was all in for 20 bucks! Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great food excellent value and overall best bar experience I 've had in years! I 'm looking forward to another visit soon!

Food was great especially the dip that has the crawfish and crab in it. The old fashioned that the bartender was awesome. Definitely will be back

Yall this a good place just go to and just hang out and eat really good food. Me and my family had a good time.

Was very pleased and impressed with the quality of food and drink aspects of the restaurant may not be up to par with some people who are exposed to more mainstream commerical brands all in all great customer service, food, and drinks and the game is on everywhere so you have no reason to complain not to rowdy so a family can go during the lunch time. Dont judge it from the outside it's the best bar in town along with the food.
