Harbour Hub Cafe - Conwy

I recently visited Harbour Cafe in Rhyl and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and all 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Despite being understaffed, they still managed to provide excellent service and didn't disappoint.

This cafe is fantastic for enjoying delicious cheese on toast outside in the sunshine. The staff are incredibly polite and hospitable. The food, especially the cheese and cherry scones and Lemon Meringue Pie, is excellent. They also offer a variety of other tasty cakes and provide take-away boxes. The coffee selection is very good with many styles to choose from. The cafe is a great addition to the improved harbour area, and having bike hire next door is a bonus. The service at this restaurant was terrible. They initially gave me the wrong change and the manager, who was working the till, was rude when I pointed it out. The food took a while to come out, and when it did, it was served in cardboard boxes and cups because they said plates weren't allowed outside. I ordered cheese on toast and my friend, who is vegan, ordered a vegan sausage bap but it came out cold when he specifically asked for it to be warmed up. To top it off, we saw the manager smoking in her apron when we left. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be coming back.

Amazing cafe… welcome, food and cleanliness are top notch. My son who has MS was in a wheelchair, but there was no problem in seating us in a no fuss manner. Part of our morning walk along the promenade is to call in at The Hub Cafe. It's in a really good spot with great views of the ocean and mountains. We are always met with a warm, welcoming smile from all of the staff. Great coffee, hot and strong just as we like it and delicious home made scones. If you haven't tried it you're missing a real treat.
