We ordered the chili linguine a recommendation from staff who were lovely by the way, for $25 it was pretty average as was the mushroom risotto which was inedible despite 3 servings of salt to give it some taste! Will not be returning for seconds.
Attended on a public holiday for breakfast. We didn't have a booking and were a group of 7 adults. Staff promptly made a table up for us and were very accommodating. Took our coffee orders immediately. Efficient and friendly service. Very professional. Food was good. Coffees were good. Options to sit outside (front and back) as well as inside. Menu was vast and reasonably priced. Recommend.
Early evening on a Friday night, had choice of seating. Wait staff very friendly and helpful. Had gluten free friends with us and waiters explained extra choices that were not marked on menu. Food arrived on the table quite quickly after order taken. Quality and quantity on plates was good. The only low point was adjusting the table legs so the table didn't rock and spill the drinks. The decor could do with an up date/revamp. Still a good choice for the evening.
Have shared breakfast, lunches and dinners with friends and family at this fantastic restaurant. Always good food, varied menu and attentive service .... Highly recommended !!
Had lunch here with 2 friends. Coffees were great. One of my friends ordered the omelette and the other the barramundi. Both said they were delicious. I ordered the BLAT wrap and loved it. Saw many yummy plates around us, so will be returning to try some of them. The staff were polite and even enjoyed some friendly banter with us. Very relaxed atmosphere and with all the other eateries in Darby Street, I would have to rate Longbench among the top 3.
