Restaurant Monique et Marie - Paule

Personally, I will never go back there again! My mother's favorite restaurant was sold and it shows! The food is questionable and flavorless! I ordered a poutine and there was only one type of sauce, bland and tasteless! My mother ordered a hamburger steak as usual, but this one didn't taste good, tough meat (it's ground meat after all!), questionable and flavorless vegetables. A table neighbor took 2 bites of her club sandwich and left it there! She took one bite of her lemon tart and pushed it away... my partner ordered a pizza which was supposed to be delicious, but it lacked flavor and had very little toppings. Avoid this restaurant now. They changed their name to Restaurant Newport, still in the same location on Route 112 in Newport, Quebec, in Estrie. Last visit was on May 22nd (2016).

One of my mother's favorite restaurants, they serve a little bit of everything. Canadian - Quebecois food, pizza, fish etc ... A good little restaurant that is not too expensive.
