Taking a moment during a long day of meetings, we went poolside for lunch. The views at lunch are stunning, blue skies, and elegance. The Cascade Cafe is a typical poolside cafe offering a variety of options to satisfy mid day hunger. I ordered the lobster tacos with fries. The lobster is lightly breaded and sprinkled with mango salsa and cabbage. Nothing outstanding, nothing bad a just right place.

I returned to one of my favorite places in Miami to find a disaster. In the the past, the bar had two of Miami's best bartenders Nate and Karim who are no longer here. When I sat down, I was in the midst of a bee problem....dozens of bees hovering over the bar. Are you kidding me? The hotel hasn't shut the bar down to address a clear and present danger? Better call Saul and your insurance provider. Before I got smart and left before getting stung, a waiter reached his arm over my drink and in front of my face to grab a napkin. Really? Who trains the staff? Come on Biltmore.....get your act together before Miami Dade shuts you down.

Very disappointed. The food was very bland. They overcooked and failed to season my burger. Also the fries were not that great. At best the food was edible. Given that this is an upscale hotel I expected better.

Beautiful restaurant, great food and service.We really enjoyed our lunch. No wait and great service. Food and presentation were very good. The seating area by the pool is beautiful and you get to observe this amazing landmark building. Highly recommend.
