Írjon visszajelzéstIf you're looking for a delicious Mexican restaurant, don't go on. We started with the Elote (educated) and the Guac. Then a few tacos and their chicken quesadilla. Plomo has a great ambience, although it can be quite loud when busier it can become quite loud and music can be a little overwhelming for some. My favorite time is when they're too busy. Food always comes fast and is always fresh. Servers are very attentive, but if it's really busy, you're not afraid to break someone down! They do their best (which is great!)
Great cozy place with a lot of personality. Good friendly staff. Food was good. It felt it lacked flavor. Like that true mexican flavor. Overly was really good with reasonable prices. The spicy Maracuya was delicious!
First time going here and the place was very nice! The staff was friendly and prompt. The bartender as well he was awesome. I’m giving them four stars because I only went for drinks-happy hour which is from 4-8 and ordered a sangria (really good)! Would recommend it their food options seem very good as well! Definitely coming back!
3.5 stars at best. Came here with co-workers for a lunch meeting. We normally go to My Ceviche or Pincho Factory but wanted something different or some place new in the Miracle area. I found Plomo via Yelp app and it was just a couple of doors down from My Ceviche. Walked in and was immediately drawn to the beautiful bar design. Dining area looked pretty cool as well and has plenty of seating arrangements from bar seats, high tops to dining tables for 2 to 6 people. Outdoor seating is also available but it was sweltering even with the fans on. As soon as we sat down, our server handed the menu and mentioned the specials. Since it was Tuesday, all tacos on the menu were $3 each (normally $3.25 to 4.50) and selected drinks were half off. We decided to get a mixture of tacos so we can all taste but first, we shared a couple of orders of chips and guac. Dam this was good! It was a bit spicy but the quality of the guac was on point. As for the tacos, the ones that stood out were the El Muro (pork marinated in pastor sauce), La Serena (snapper), Las Chivas (braised lamb), El Guero (beer battered shrimp). The braised lamb was surprisingly tender and the rest were very tasty. We also got the sliced skirt steak called Plomo. It was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. The Volador with Tuna Tartar was also pretty good but the portion was way too tiny. I missed out on the Las Fresa made with sautéed squash, zucchini, sundried tomatoes, crema queso fresco. It looked very enticing and my vegetarian buddy said it tasted good too. There 's 1 kink they need to work on, the food service. Our server was super nice but the food came out sporadically so each person had to eat in turn . They also completely forgot to make the Las Fresa so it was awkward to have 1 person waiting the entire time while everyone else finished. Otherwise, the quality is good and the place looks cool. Will come back again maybe for happy hour or for another taco Tuesday.
Cool aesthetic, decent prices (for coral gables), and pretty good food. Doesn't match the real deal authentic joints in homestead, but the al pastor and their fancy coralgablemex inventions (ahi tuna taco) were on point.
