Gold Coast Grill - Coral Springs

There is nothing bad to say about this delightful restaurant. The only small thing is that they do not take reservations and on a Saturday night and it is a long wait...but worth it.....

This was the first and last time I ever stepped foot in the Gold Coast Grill. The name should be changed to Fools Gold Coast Grill. I order a skirt steak sandwich (medium). It looked great on the outside, but when I took my first bite and found it was blood red. Since I was on a lunch break I switch to a salad so I could get back to work on time. I had pieces of lettuce that were either frozen or spoiled. Even my wife had an issue with her food. The steamed vegetables were way over cooked. Once informed of my issue with the sandwich, the waitress did not seem to want anything to do with us. My wife noticed she never again made eye contact with us. The check came with her arm outstretched but she was already turning to walk away. The best part came 15 minutes later when my stomach went sour and I spent the next 30 minutes sitting on the throne. I would never go back and would never recommend this place to anyone. Eat at your own risk.

This is a great place for a first date...you can talk...relax...and actually hear each other. The drinks are good....and they even have some specialty martinis. Although it says casual, you should wear something nicer than shorts and flip flops...but far from formal.
