Falbo Bros Pizzeria - Coralville

The thin crust pizzas at this restaurant are lacking in toppings and are quite expensive. Most of the time, all I can taste is the sauce and the crust, making it feel more like a breadstick with a few toppings rather than a proper pizza. I used to enjoy Falbo when I lived in another city, but this location has left me disappointed.

This was just mediocre pizza. The flavor was fine, but it was more than slightly salty. It was fairly salty and the crust was a bit dense. It was a fair price for what we got. I might try the deep dish later, but there are other better choices elsewhere.

Looks like a nice place from the outside, being a new building and such. The lunch special was 2 slices and a 24oz drink for $6. There were 4 choices, and they looked pretty good, but looks can be deceiving. Pepperoni and a Spinach/Tomato combo were not much better than a frozen pizza. Filling up the drink no ice!! I mentioned it to the fella behind the counter and I think he said 'we haven 't had any for awhile '. Decided to use the restroom before leaving, and had to squeeze past product lined up in the hallway. The paper towel and toilet paper dispensers? Maybe they lost the key to refill them. The towels and tissue were just sitting on top. Take some pride in the shop even if the pizza isn 't very good.

Everyone has their own pizza preferences, and I usually gravitate towards deep dish or pizzas with a hearty crust, and Falbo's definitely delivers on that. Their thin crust is also a solid option! They use fire deck ovens, and I love spotting those little black specks on the bottom of my slice—it's perfection. You can really taste the difference with their homemade sauce and dough. Plus, my picky five-year-old loves their cheese pizza, so it’s definitely kid-approved! Pricing is reasonable, and both carryout and delivery are usually prompt. Parking is never an issue. If you're craving pizza but prefer to stay in, definitely order from Falbo's. We’ve served their pizzas at birthday parties, big games, and Friday nights at home!
