La Perla - Córdoba

I had a chicken Milanese. It is quite typical of the average Argentine meal. It was solid 3 stars, but then I tried the flan light and airy as it should be!

Awful fat meat and fry purée. Service very bad without explanation about meals! Quiet. We will never come again..

I have read reviews that varied from wonderful to terrible, so I was almost afraid to taste their legendary Milanesa. Three of us had one and all our plate cleaned, although the Milanesa overflows a serving plate! The meal was tasty and not overpriced in view of the hype created via the Milanesa. The service was attentive. I'm looking forward to going back, but next time I'm gonna share a Milanesa with my husband and soak a salad. The salads I saw were great and looked wonderful.

The sea fillet I had in this restaurant was really good. The size of the fish and the size of the accompaniments were very large. The service is not always very attentive.

I can remember my times as university student in Cordoba when we met once a week to dinner the famous “milanesas” at La Perla restaurant. Owners and location might have changed thru the years but the taste (and generous size) of dishes have not neither the cozzy and familiar environment. Good for family and friends meetings.
