Mezza Volta - Corfu

We were there at 13:15, we saw online that the place opens a 13 o'clock. when we were going to the place, someone asked about the personal if we wanted to eat something. When we said, she asked the kitchen staff if they were ready. they told us that they are not ready yet and that they will open in 1 hour, so we came back 1 hour later just to say that the kitchen can not cook today, because the place is reserved for a party of 100 people and that we should go to the next restaurant because it is the same in the round. we have told them that we have come for the vegan options and that we go somewhere else because the place next door does not offer them. we were very disappointed as we were there with the quad and could have gone back from far away and into our apartment or another restaurant. I'm not sure if the party is real, but if it were, they already knew 1 hour earlier and could have told us!

Very friendly staff who understands veganism well, there is a vegan section of the menu. compared to other years there are fewer options, as shown (e.g. no vegan gyros). it is still nice to pay attention to although it can be hard to find options on korfu.

We were there before the sezon and it was only short menu without wegan options. without problems we offer them two away foods for us to understand them completely what wegan means and help with smiles in the season they have many wegan dishes go and try! a meal at 8-10€.

Nice place in a touristy neighborhood, so you know the prices will be on the high side. Apart from that the food is good, the staff knows about veganism and are very nice and welcoming. We had souvlaki and filled peppers and wine leaves. All nicely made.
