Electric - Cork

Booked a table for lunch today at 2. Arrived had to knock at door. Cleaner left us in and the place was empty and filthy we were told to sit where we want. No spell of food so we left. A disgrace

Used to be a lot better. Bar food was OK, nothing exceptional. There was about six people there on a Friday night, won't last much longer unless something changes.

The service was good and Stefan was excellent! But the food was sub standard, didn’t taste fresh at all. Cocktails were good,

I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant. When we entered first through the bar we ordered a cocktail. The bar staff looked extremely under pressure. One cocktail came within a few minutes but the second didn't arrive. A half hour passed and after enquiring twice I finally just took one off a tray (prepped for another table) with the barman's permission of course. The restaurant was very strangely lit. The purple lighting was not very complimentary to the food. The food was nice but seemed a little over priced for what we were got. Monkfish seemed quite dry. The service was fine. And the waiting staff were brilliant. We were informed that the kitchen was closing quite early and felt as though we were being pushed out. Perhaps the lower level by the bar is better value but the restaurant didn't live up to the experiences we have had in the past. This is unfortunate.
