Írjon visszajelzéstYesterday evening of our West Education. Spouse and I wanted to eat somewhere that was local, not a chain restaurant. I had noticed this place on a trip over Corner Brook, read the reviews and decided to review it. We ate in the lower dining area, which was typically used for weddings etc., but now due to COIVD guidelines was used for regular service. Good decision of the owners. The spacious room is allowed for an intimate discussion between the cartridges. Don't worry about intrusion in nearby conversations or your own intrusive. The calm, calm, meditation music was so relaxing after a long day. We enjoyed the crabs filled mushrooms as an appetizer; and the seafood plated and fried salmon as the main thing with the house pecan/mandarin salad. Recipe is not shared for the vinaigrette. Everything was so delicious! Pansy was our beautiful server.
My family and I discovered this hidden gem and dined at Corner Brook last night. The food was amazingly delicious, the presentation was stunning, and the atmosphere was outstanding. The restaurant was gorgeous with Christmas themed decor, music playing, and exceptional service. We highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return whenever we are in Corner Brook. We give it a perfect 10 out of 10. Plus, there is an added bonus – the craft shop below is a must-visit.
We chose this lunch tour from the list of options on our cruise in Corner Brook. We arrived in this beautiful, untouched city on a beautiful, mostly sunny October day with a temperature in the low 60's F/upper teens C. We were driven by...big bus the short distance from the ship to the restaurant, but decided to go back on a beautiful day. A negative was not Wi-Fi, but I could get a flawless reception from the closed Subway shop next door! We were greeted by a 3 man band and a waiting staff of about 5. They were overworked as the number that was signed was great as expected, but the price was not cheap so they made some money! The 3 guys, all former school teachers, talked to us with local music and yarns as well as how they started. They seem to travel throughout Newfoundland and East Canada with their anti-cores. They had a sweet punch and water for us when we arrived. Water refills were very slow due to the large amount and the small staff. No other drinks were offered (including for an additional fee). The first course was a pea soup, brownish white and not green due to the local peas that are this color, or should I say color? Next we had a fish dish with bread crumbs. It was a local fish similar to cod. Then stir the main dish with a side salad. The moss was well served, so there would be no playful taste. It was decent, but not something I would eat often. For Dessert there was a cake with appleberry topping. All in all, a good local lunch made with some local entertainment for a few hours from the ship. I'm glad I did it, but I'd do something else if it was back in Corner Brook. I was surprised by the number of houses nearby and along the coast, so it can be a jumping place. Thank you for a good introduction to the 10. Province of Canada!
Corner Brook doesn't have much to offer through food, and Jennifer made us so happy. We visited a QM2 crossing in August and the weather was wonderful, we wanted to eat outside, but the only place we found seemed a...growth, so we left; After a few minutes of searching, however, Jennifer's upper floor (as you would guess from the name), found quite empty, rather dark, and a bit lifting. But then a friendly young waitress arrived, we examined the menu that was quite short and ordered what was basically fish and chips. Absolutely delicious. Both. The service was soothing and helpful. We couldn't understand why this place wasn't full!
It's a shame that this restaurant is only open after 5 pm because I would have liked to see it open for lunch. The food is delicious, especially considering it's a buffet style meal.
