At Fowey Hall

After considering multiple options for my wife's birthday dinner during our week-long holiday in Fowey, I decided on this restaurant because it appeared to be more upscale than your typical pub serving basic pub fare. While there is nothing wrong with that, I wanted to treat my wife to a special dining experience for her celebration.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant for Afternoon Tea. Despite booking online and receiving confirmation, when I called to request a change in reservation time, the staff informed me that it was not possible. The overall experience was not worth the price charged.

This is the second time we have stayed here but the first time we have eaten. Very good well presented food served by great staff, it's a short wine list but very good quality, we'll be back in September.
