Dave cooked for my husband and I and our 18 guests at our wedding in Cornwall. Throughout the whole process Dave was extremely professional and clear on what he could offer us on the day and what the prices were which is extremely helpful when planning a wedding. Dave cooked canapés for after our ceremony which were all delicious, the duck bon bons were a real hit! Everything was delicious and on time. The wedding breakfast was absolutely fantastic, the food was top quality and you can tell a lot of effort and love went into cooking all dishes. Our guests could not stop raving on about the food and even told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Dave also prepared for us an evening buffet which was equally as amazing and again the quality of all the food really was impeccable, I could not fault anything. The wine pairing that he suggested was also excellent and really added that little bit extra to the wedding breakfast. Aside from being a brilliant chef, Dave himself is so easy to talk to, puts you at ease, very professional but also brings his energetic and fun personality too which is wonderful to have on your wedding day. I cannot express how thankful we are to Dave and his team for everything they did on our wedding day. If you are even thinking about booking Dave for your wedding or any other event, just do it! You will not be disappointed. A massive thank you to Dave and his wonderful team for everything you did for us on our special day, we really appreciate it!

Dave and his assistant Paige prepared a special five course meal for my father's 70th birthday while we were on vacation in Cornwall. Dave was friendly and enthusiastic from the start, and made the booking process clear. There were ten of us, including 4 children, and Dave made sure to cater to everyone's needs. They arrived on time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious and locally sourced, with Dave providing descriptions of each course. They joined in the fun with good humor and left the kitchen clean. Overall, it was an amazing meal and I hope to experience it again in the future.

Dave Sargent and his assistant Fiona cooked a birthday celebration dinner for 6 of us at our holiday rental in Devon. The food was absolutely amazing and Dave took the time to explain every dish to us. The canapés he served while we were having champagne were delicious. They were great company to have around and it made for a very special evening. I would definitely recommend his services.

Came for the mother in laws birthday in our cottage/villa whatever you’d like to call it. Food was exceptional and were served by Paige who was very polite and accommodating. Dave explained the origin of each dish and exactly where the produce had come from which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend to anybody thinking of booking somebody similar. We were incredibly lucky to find Dave Sargent during our trip to Cornwall to celebrate my Mum's 90th birthday in her hometown. Dave took care of all our meals over 3 days, making cooking for our large family stress-free. Everyone in the family absolutely loved the food, which consisted of traditional British dishes. Dave's cooking was exceptional, his pastry skills were particularly impressive, and every dish was delicious. Dave is a talented and professional chef, who was also friendly and fantastic to work with. Special thanks to Fiona as well, who was also wonderful. It was even more special to share this weekend with Dave, as we have a family connection. We hope to see you again, either in Cornwall or in Yorkshire.
