Chicken Express - Corpus Christi

The chicken is consistently hot and fresh, and my husband claims the fish is the best in town! What I truly appreciate about this restaurant is the cozy hometown vibe. It’s beautifully decorated for every holiday, and the staff is incredibly friendly!

I hadn't been there in a while, but now that I'm back, I can't get over how amazing the fried okra and corn nuggets are. They’re simply out of this world—like little nuggets from a delicious paradise! Just take my money already!

I returned today and noticed a significant improvement in speed. I ordered a 25-piece to-go meal from inside the dining room and was out within about 10 minutes. I'm raising my rating from 2 stars to 4. However, the drive-thru service was extremely slow. It took over 20 minutes to receive a 7-piece tender dinner. I've experienced long waits before, but this one really took the cake. At least the food was good, but if I'd known it would take so long, I would have chosen a different place.

I love diversity and options. I have a 2-PC. They have the possibility of ANY of their pages, not just Fritten. You have the choice between two different breads, roll or biscuits, and you choose BOTH pieces of chicken... And the sweet tea is great!
