VA BEWARD: Disappointed on Luby'sSARATOGA CC.We eat regular at Luby's with our military discount. Our receipt and did not add up. The receipt showed three items 1 drink, fish dish, 1 drink turkey dish plus tax came to $25 my total as shown on receipt No Military discount. Little did I know they add up each individual item on the plate the total actually was $32 not shown on receipt orher a discount of $7 which they claim its the military discount bringing the total to $25. Actually it's the side items they claim comes with the plate.If you are veteran check your receipt.It's misleading.

Whoever was working the To Go section on Sunday July 30, 2023 at 6:20 pm was very rude and unhelpful. I needed assistance with the app and the restaurant menu. She didn't offer to help. I informed her she was rude and walked out. I tried to call to speak to a supervisor and I was left on hold....they are unprofessional.

Excellent food. I thought I would have to get my own soda refill. The server just walked on by, don't be mad you got 1.00 tip, would have gotten less but I don't carry change. WHY IS IT SO WARM?

I decided on the chicken fried steak.Listen to my list of sides. Oh course mashed w/ brown gray ,green beans , yams that were just right and a dinner roll.The tea I serve with sugar,and without sugar. half and half. It's perfect.There was a silver headed lady working , with an Island girl Yolanda smiling so friendly, willing to make sure you have a pleasant meal . My sister and I had a delightful meal.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.I did find it unusual the handicap) physically challenged parking were way around the side of the building.Its shady, but that's not a plus.Ita guite a ways to front door .Anyway check it out.

The food was good I like the selection it was my first time going here. I'm 30 and have only found out about it by driving by I saw a commercial once when I was young and decided to give it a try. The server was nice and attentive. They had football on the TV. I got the fish and it was crispy the broccoli was really good too. I liked the selections and the dessert looked very good. Only issue is the carpet needs to go it has a weird smell but it's not enough to turn you out the door. Kids ate free on this specific day which was a unexpected bonus!
