Across The Street Diner - Corsicana

This was the worst meal I've had in quite some time. To start, my older daughter, who is 46 and recently had bariatric surgery, needed to order from the kids' menu because she can't eat much. She was told that it would be okay, but there would be an extra charge of a couple of dollars. That was not true! They ended up charging her $5 more for Dynobites. We felt totally ripped off. I seriously doubt that anything in that place is homemade, despite the claims all over the menu. Save your money; I’m sure there are better dining options in Corsicana!

I absolutely loved this place! I ordered the blackened catfish, and it was delicious! The restaurant is also located in a historic building, which adds to its charm!

I ordered eggs, bacon, toast, and grits, along with a side of biscuits and gravy. While I received the eggs, bacon, grits, biscuits, and gravy, the toast was missing. I really enjoy having toast with my eggs. However, the breakfast was still quite tasty. I understand the waitress was working alone, so I appreciate her efforts.

Just what you'd expect from an old diner, but better food. Corsicana favorite!

Nice place. Waitress lost or forgot to enter our order. We had to leave for a meeting and never got our food. Looks like a great place and the food of other customers looked good. This place came recommended from a friend so we will try them again in the future and I'll update the review if we have a better experience.
