Maverik Adventure's First Stop - Cortez

Ok so first, They have common sense and didn't make me wear a mask which was super awesome!! Heather was great!! And their sandwiches are freaking AMAZING!! Thoroughly impressed!! Thank you Colorado ?

Well on a road trip found this place and was very surprised. The views were incredible, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they had a really good selection of drinks and treats for the long road trip ahead.

At least 75% of people had no mask or distancing. No wonder their numbers are so high! They are not enforcing either. The lady prepping food in the back did not have gloves on and a few employees were not wearing masks. Be cautious.

It's not a truck stop. However if you ask politely Melissa will give you a spot. Nice clean washrooms and lovely salads. Delicious hotdog choices and even a little liquor store for those that like a cocktail. If Melissa is the standard of employee in this place... they are doing an excellent job. Many thanks Melissa. I'd give a five if it were a truck stop.

I parked my semi-truck here overnight. There’s only space for a few vehicles, but the staff were very friendly.
