Visited in juli 2021. baita resch was one of the best meals I had on our trip through italy. the service was excellent and the view of the valley was incredible at sunset. one has to stop for all who pass through cortina. the prices were very reasonable...and the shares were plentiful. I'm thinking about going all the way from innsbruck back in 2022 when we visit Austria as it would be worth the trip!
Great service . wonderful view over the valey. Good food for kids. Playground near by. Recommended! !
The food (on the cold side) and the service (they were simply not really nice) were both a bit disappointment. I'd go back, but only for drinks, because it's just fantastic outside.
We thought about lunch in Cortina d’Ampezzo but luckily (and happy that we stopped before. This restaurant is located down the Falzaregho pass on the way to (or from Cortina town. Is a chalet located not far from chairlifts and ski slopes access point, hidden...from the main road; good thing that a sign of the restaurant is posted. We had cream of potatoes and leeks (9,00 very thick, creamy and tasty; stuffed pasta (casunzei with red turnips (12,00 ; braised beef (three slices 15,00 served with small scoops of cornmeal; apple strudel (4,00 All food were delicious and tasty (maybe that awesome view makes it better! Good place to go with kids either summer or winter. Service was enough, the girls looked overworked and were dressed with Alpine folk attires. A good place for lunch and private venues if looking something to give a wow to guests! P.S. for summer if want to have a good view of the mountains/Cortina while eating, better go early!
