It’s great for nostalgia and reminiscing about a youthful, carefree time, but when it comes to food quality, it's lacking. The service also feels like a blast from the past!
I ordered wonton soup, pan-fried noodles, soft noodles, and orange chicken to go. Unfortunately, everything was lackluster in flavor. The rice was burnt, and even the fortune cookies were stale and old. The only item that had any taste was the BBQ sauce in the noodles.
I ordered the Kung Pao chicken lunch special to take away. Prices seem to be higher than in the past, which aligns with current inflation trends. However, based on my experience, I can’t really recommend this restaurant. The service was almost too fast; I barely had time to sit down after placing my order when they handed me my food. While I wouldn't normally mind quick service, it felt like the quality suffered due to such a fast turnaround. I’d have to agree with some of the other reviewers that the flavor was quite lacking for Chinese food. Considering the pricing isn't very competitive and the taste didn't fully satisfy, I can only rate this place a 3 out of 5.
Thought after the stop to lunch on a laune. platz was lunch time, but I sat fast, given water, hot tee, and a fresh place setting along with a menu. a very special Mongolian ordered bark that came with fried rice and an egg roll. the food came out they burn her mouth, peeping hot, so they know it was made fresh and not sitting around. the egg roll was perhaps the best that I had ever shattered in the intended hot slender, there were three huge bites of the sky. Mongolian bark was great with many wobble lovers. I was very happy with pretty all great meal service tee for 14 tips. Maybe the next time I remember making photos before I was wasted.
The BEST Egg Rolls in all of California !! Also the Chicken Sticks appetizers are great. Fantastic Soups !! My personal favorites are the Hot and Sour and also the Egg Flower soup. Their Singapore Noodle dish with pork and shrimp is delicious !! Sweet and Sour pork and the Special Gai Kow Chicken are outstanding The only thing they need to improve on is the Egg Foo Young ! Needs more BBQ Pork meat inside and a better tasting gravy !!! The worst tasting gravy I've ever had!! Bland and overly starchy !! But overall a fine American Cantonese Chinese restaurant reminiscent of the 1950's PS . Their Special Lunch Menu is great! Lots of food and reasonably priced !!!
