French's Cupcake Bakery - Costa Mesa

Wow, cake was amazing! So fresh and delicious. Cooked and finished to perfection! I want to have another party so I have an excuse to get more cake. ALMOST FORGOT!!! When I picked up the cake they had fresh pastry in the display case. We are talking European bakery quality perfection holy moly! We got a variety of items and all were to die for.

This is the go to bakery for my family. My entire life from birthday's to weddings we always get our treats here. The quality can't be beat and the pricing is very fair.I promise you they will not disappoint!

One word: COOKIES!!Shame on us for driving past this hidden gem all these years of going into the area for several doctor appointments and never knowing about this place!! My sister found it around the holidays and I've been hooked ever since!! Cookies galore!! I could eat cookies ALLL day! My sister will tell you LOL! She came home with a box of Christmas cookies and I was hooked! These are some of the most buttery, addicting coookies I've ever had!!So simple but so good, they have alll different kinds of cookies you can think of! Cookies with nuts, sprinkle cookies {our favorite}, sugar cookies, you name it! I finally got to see it in person myself last month and OMG it was like dessert heaven! The minute you come in, your hit with a shelf of coffee cakes and cinnamon rolls the size of your head!!Then you make your way to the display case and your seeing all of the amazing looking cookies, cake slices, cupcakes, etc.! It was Valentine's Day when we went and there was the cutest cookies! Everything I had was delish!! The staff was very friendly and patient with us! I'm sure they are used to people in such awe of their amazing goodies!! You can really get into trouble coming here, the good kind of trouble!I'm a fan!! ^__^

The workers were so kind when I called and asked if they had a king cake... coming from Louisiana during Mardi Gras the king cake was one of my favorite traditions and so I've been looking everywhere in Orange County and LA for a good king cake. They don't make the king cake as the oval shaped cake that king cake usually is they turn it into small little cinnamon bun type cake, it was really cute and decorated and decent for a California king cake. I tried the regular one. I wish I got there early enough to try the ones with filling because that's usually when I get in New Orleans but it did the job.

Wow! The Coconut birthday cake we got for my mom's birthday was incredible. Everyone couldn't stop talking about how flavorful and moist this 4 layer Coconut cake with pineapple filling was. I have even gotten two emails this morning, still talking about how great this cake was. The frosting was light and fluffy. Covering in flaked coconut. Yummy. Been buying our birthday cakes from French's since the 1970s. Thank you French's for another great cake. See you again soon, for the next family birthday celebration.
