Sushi Wave - Costa Mesa

A tasty new find. Who knew you can get amazing sushi in an unobtrusive strip mall. It's our new favorite place. The quality of the food is worth the price. We were there five days ago and still talk about the food. They were very accommodating when I asked for a modification. We never felt like we were a bother. Presentation was amazing.. We cannot wait to go back with friends. We tried the cucumber roll, volcano roll, shrimp crunch roll, tiger roll and Japanese fried chicken eating ourselves stupid. So doing it again!

No AYCE. But still awesome deal in Newport Beach. $20 gets you 3 items plus rice, miso, and salad. I chose two rolls and a chicken katsu. So filling and delicious.

It's fine but it didn't amaze me. Fresh quality ingredients. But fairly basic choices and preparations. It's AYCE all you can eat. You can bring a bottle of wine for just a $6 corkage fee. The jalapeno bomb is a whole raw jalapeno, so extremely spicy. The CJ roll had a citrus vinaigrette that I didn't care for. The crispy rice and tuna was great. The lobster roll was ok. I prefer the AYCE at the Triangle instead.

Visited here and I have to say, the food quality and pricing is amazing. Definetly the lunch prices and quantity of food that is served. The all you can eat seems like a great deal as well. The chicken katsu is a must try! Also the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, love it. Would make a great date spot in the evening.

This restaurant is fantastic! The service is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had a request for a custom dish, and they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. The hostess was also very welcoming and kind!
