The Pizza Press - Costa Mesa

First, the pizza is delicious. There is a good amount of toppings to choose and taste everything fresh. Great beer choice too. However, if you want more from a specific topping, download it extra (no longer the purpose of the format). The staff is also not the friendly (I felt very hastily). Can't give t stars for these reasons, but the food quality is 5/5.

Great concept and it delivers! Start with real pizza dough, pressed before your eyes and rolled to bake evenly. Add fresh toppings of your choice or have your pizza made by the menu right in front of you! Well kept prep area. Delicious ingredients, helpful and friendly staff, lots of beer on tap to choose and a variety of bottled and fountain sodas. Busy, Clean place with indoor and outdoor seating. Order to go available. I really enjoy using olive oil as the base and they do a great job using a quality olive oil. Finished my pizza with tasty arugula and chopped basil to add even more flavor.

Pizza press is always solid. You can get GF and vegan cheese if you so desire which can be hard to get at pizza joints. Removed a star because they stopped allowing pesto as a base which I get all the time. They still have pesto as a finisher but for some reason you can’t use it as a base, weird. Beer selection is large and rotates frequently, solid lunch spot.

The place is chic and have outdoor and indoor dining options. You can build your own pizza. Tried vegetarian pizza with wheat base and chicken pizza.
