La Barchessa - COTIGNOLA

Very typical country site. fireplace, large table, family atmosphere. it was a Saturday night and the place was crowded, they served us very quickly. I have tried the famous Gnocco-Grotte (good) and straccetti di chianina also very tasty and tender.

Very simple local inside and definitely crowded. went to eat meat I ordered a cut: small, with very fat meat and arrived cold. I can't judge the other menu courses, but I was disappointed. fast service but not particularly friendly and altini prices. I wouldn't come back.

Nice location though close to the provincial. a thick hedge hides everything. the fireplace inside creates the right atmosphere. Lunch menu € high quality ingredients, it is worth doing some extra km for lunch.
